Introducing a model plan to efficiently enjoy Yakushima over 2 nights and 3 days with Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine
as the main tourist attraction. Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine, known as the backdrop
for the movie "Princess Mononoke," has a world of moss and water spreading deep into the primeval forest.
Of course, days when sunlight shines through are nice, but some say it's more flavorful when it rains a little.

First day

Around the hotel, there are spots to visit such as easy forest walking trails, hot springs, and cafes.

The 30 minutes before and after sunset is the magical hour when the sky dramatically changes color.

Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine

The Natural Recreation Forest "Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine" is a course with many highlights, including beautiful streams, moss-covered primeval forests, Yakusugi-Cedar trees over 1,000 years old, and the view from Taikoiwa Rock overlooking the central mountains of Yakushima. Route bus: Please take a bus departing after 7:00. A transfer at "Oharamachi" bus stop is necessary.
Guide: It is recommended to hire a guide who will come to pick you up at the hotel.
